We are looking for a sharp IT Support Technician interested in working part-time out of our Salt Lake City office.  In this role you will work alongside the client services helpdesk technicians, DevOps Engineers, and IT Director in a fast paced, fast growing, multi-national, client and customer-oriented medical coding company. A successful candidate will be able to support systems, services, and end user IT requests, as well as contribute to IT Operations initiatives across the entire organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Provide top notch support to users of our systems remotely using communication methods such as phone, IM, e-mail, and remote desktop processes.
  2. Process work tickets as they come in and be the first escalation point for IT.
  3. Document processes for resolution, and write guides for processes as necessary.
  4. Escalate issues within the IT team as needed.
  5. Participate in on call rotations for heavy load events or significant changes in the organization.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues in a Windows PC environment and Mac environment. (A+ certifications preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with end users with various levels of IT knowledge and skill.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
  • Aptitude for problem solving by observing the symptoms, analyzing and determining its root causes and applying best solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and On Premise Active Directory a plus.
  • Basic understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Ability to learn new tasks and processes quickly.
