Aviacode is seeking Multi-Specialty Coders (remote)

Reports to: Coding Supervisor/Manager
Employment Status: Remote  (W2) Position
Position: PT or FT
Hours: Between 20-40 hours per week (you may work at your convenience) 

URGENT: We need an expert multispecialty coder that can code multiple inpatient/outpatient visits and surgeries ASAP.  (SEE BELOW for MORE OPPORTUNITIES!)

Job Description: You will be auditing charge sessions on many different Electronic Medical Record systems or in our own system for multiple specialties and departments and providing provider education and feedback. Profee, E/M experience, surgical experience, IP, OP, ASC and/or facility.

  • Current CPC (or equivalent) required
  • Must have 3+ years coding experience

  • CPC or AHIMA equivalent  credentials preferred
  • Experience with Medicaid of California guidelines required
  • Inpatient and outpatient E/M pro-fee coding experience mandatory
  • Surgical coding experience mandatory
  • Commitment of 20-24 hrs
