Reports to: Coding Supervisor/Manager
Position: CONTRACT POSITION (Remote)

 QUALIFICATIONS
  • CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
  • Must have at least 2 years of active E/M coding experience
  • Preferred E/M experience in the following areas:
     (OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Urology, Family Practice, Cardiology, Orthopedic, ENT)
  • Must pass Aviacode’s internal E/M test
  • Signed contract with Aviacode
  • Be self-motivated, goal and detail oriented, very organized, effective in handling stressful situations, prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and have exceptional written and verbal communication style.
  • Must reside legally in the USA
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • You will be validating the E/M procedures and coding the ICD-10 from the documentation for multiple clients.
  • Must complete a certain number of claims per pay period (varies based on project)
  • Must maintain a 95% accuracy rate.
  • Must have a Windows Based Operating System (MAC is not compatible).
  • Must have High Speed Internet Access
