  • Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience/Variable compensation tied to revenue production.

Position Summary

The Regional Account Executive’s primary responsibility will be driving revenue by implementing proven sales strategies to sell Aviacode software and services to senior level executives in healthcare. They will be expected to leverage existing relationships within the industry to identify and expand additional service opportunities for Aviacode.
The Regional Account Executive is responsible for selling Aviacode services including; medical coding and auditing services, denial management, clinical documentation assessment and training services in a consultative fashion in a defined geographic location.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Sell medical coding services to senior level executives.
  2. Responsible for meeting and exceeding designated territory sales and revenue objectives.
  3. Responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities.
  4. Responsible for accurately identifying the designated territory sales pipeline and forecast.
  5. Network effectively to leverage existing relationships and build new ones; all of whom will assist in building a large book of business.
  6. Execute successful end-to-end sales process.
  7. Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  8. Assume role of trusted strategic consultative partner of our customers.
  9. Stay informed of new product and technical knowledge including enhancements, industry trends and other relevant information.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Proven sales track record in the Healthcare Industry.
  2. Ability to sell from the CEO on down in order to set up and execute large transactions.
  3. A strong understanding of the Healthcare Revenue Cycle.
  4. Extensive knowledge of clinical workflows especially physician documentation practices and EMR usage.
  5. An understanding of Medical Coding and Auditing Compliance.
  6. Aptitude for effectively handling stressful situations, prioritizing work, meeting deadlines and motivating others.
  7. Self-motivated, goal-oriented and persistent; very organized and have an exceptional written and verbal communication style.
  8. Up to 50% travel required to meet goals & objectives.
  9. Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  10. Excellent listening and questioning skills.
  11. Ability to make effective decisions quickly.
  12. Self-Confident.
  13. Flexible, yet takes and defends positions.
  14. Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
  15. Accepts and adheres to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.
  16. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast moving organization.
  17. Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field required.
  18. 7+ years of experience in Healthcare Sales Market or related areas.
